SOS is the collaborative brainchild of 3 compassionate and creative friends who decided to combine their personal and professional knowledge to assist others in their effort to achieve balance. Our various careers, education, training and experience create a solid framework and understanding of human behavior and needs. We proudly hold Master’s degrees in Social Work and Public Administration and are active members of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and National Association of Social Workers (NASW). We have provided service in areas of senior care, insurance, public service, higher education, behavioral health and the non-profit world. In that time, we have developed systems and organized homes and offices and have enjoyed witnessing the relief of our clients as they experience their newfound space. We have supported clients during the most vulnerable period of their life as well as celebrated in their success in achieving personal goals, independent living and balance.

We have a long history of providing confidential direct service to individuals and families. We have been confronted with a number of personal and professional situations ranging from a parent’s passing to multiple moves to Africa and Europe. We have managed a program and emergency shelter, assisted community members needing to organize and donate household and clothing items, planned and implemented luncheons and dinners for hundreds of individuals, and connected clients to community resources. This is just a glimpse into over 30 combined years of direct service experience.

We are thrilled that we can formally define our services to you based on our skills and talents as well as an understanding of commonly shared stressors and need for assistance.
