“Working with SOS to organize my living room and office has been a wonderful experience. They took the time to understand our needs and were able to make our rooms functional within a budget. They assessed what we already had and helped us to put existing items to good use. Then they were able to locate items that met our needs. The true test was with the kids. They were able to find their toys and crafts. Best of all they were able to understand each item had a place and were able to assist when the time came to put everything away. My living room and office are now functional and relaxing spaces thanks to SOS!!!”
In the past 3 years, I have downsized and cleaned out 3 family homes. The experience is emotional as well as overwhelming. Caring for elderly parents from a distance is very stressful. You want them to be safe, happy, and content. Through this process many of our family mementos ended up in our basement. The whole process can become exhausting when you are working, making weekly and monthly trips to care for aging parents, and simultaneously trying to take care of yourself.
At work I met other adults dealing with the same issues that I was going through. Many of them had come from out of state to deal with emptying the family home after 60 years. Bringing car loads of clothing, furniture, and house wares to donate. This motivated me in helping to create a business to help other families eliminate stress and find balance in their lives!
I can actually, find my workout equipment! I don’t mind working out now that I don’t have to look at the clutter and disorganization!
